CHICO CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
July 27, 2010 – 5:30 p.m.
1. CALL TO ORDER.
2. INVOCATION.
3. Consider and act on an Ordinance authorizing the issuance
of time warrants of the City in order to pay for refinancing
existing water and sewer time warrants and construction of
sewer system and water system improvement projects for
the benefit of the City of Chico.
4. Consider and act on establishing a policy relating to the
Texas Occupations Code that requires engineering for Public
Works Construction per Sec. 1001.407. CONSTRUCTION OF
CERTAIN PUBLIC WORKS.
5. "Executive session” the council may enter into executive
session to discuss the following:
a. “Deliberation regarding real property pursuant to Texas
Government Code §551.072” (consider contemplated real
property acquisition relating to the water system).
b. Council adjourns from executive session into open
meeting.
c. The council returns to open meeting.
6. Consider and act upon items listed under executive
session, as necessary.
a. Real property acquisition -- relating to the water system.
7. Adjourn.
